Michelle Boulé is a movement artist, working with her interests in all things perceived, felt and experienced through the body. Her current interests include exploring how all facets of perception and consciousness lend themselves to and actually define a physical and aesthetic experience. How can we use this information to craft, listen to and access different realities. Furthermore, how can we access fluidity and creativity within the structures of ourselves and our environments. She continues to develop and refine these ideas through performance, teaching, personal research and choreography.
She recently received critical accolades for her performance in Last Meadow by Miguel Gutierrez and the Powerful People (including a 2010 New York Dance and Performance Award “Bessie”) and in If I Sing to You by Deborah Hay. Below are a few links. She is so grateful for the experience of performance and thanks all the artists and audience members who make this possible.
